4 REASONS WHY RANDY ORTON IS CURRENT BEST WWE LEGEND ( AND 3 IT IS REY MYSTERIO )

WWE is passing from the phase of Covid era and is currently short of rosters with the majority of wrestlers being future stars.

As of now it can be said only two legend wrestlers who have been marking out their presence from nearly 2 decades in WWE and that are Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton ( though Triple H, William regal, Lesnar, Goldberg, Undertaker come up time to time they are not full time and AJ styles has joined WWE just recently)

So let us examine out a few points for both according to the performance of this year to prove their points to be the ultimate legends.

1.Randy Orton - Still in Main event

The Viper is a kind of guy who has been in title picture since joining The Evolution. But the fact that he is winning world championship even after 18 years of debut and that too without fan's backlash is a remarkable joy. And in the Covid era, he has proven out to be the best and has helped to keep Monday night raw alive.

2.Rey Mysterio - Continuing The Legacy

Though THE LEGACY was a faction lead by The Apex Predator, but in real Rey Mysterio is the one who is practising it by passing his fandom and goodwill on to his offsprings Dominic and Aaliyah Mysterio who have been on the scene since the feud with Seth Rollins. Dominic has stood out to fans expectations and is expected to receive a huge push.

3.Randy Orton - Excellent feuds

Though it is debatable that Mysterio is one of the best performers from the past, his feud with Seth Rollins was not up to the mark of expectations and was forced to shut down. On the other hand, Randy Orton has been nominated twice in the rivalry of the year Slammy awards against Edge and Mcintyre. And to be honest both of his feuds were awesome with his both matches totalling up to 81 minutes 20 seconds and add up the heat to the buildup of both these matches.

Also, his feud with Mcintyre on 3 different PPV's and 4 matches aside of tag team matches and confrontations have been one of the highlights of this year.

4. Rey Mysterio -On the better and Home show

Gone are the days when everyone used to call Smackdown the B show and a second show to Monday night Raw. Continuously after the 2016 draft, it has paced up to become the better show than it's the counterpart and after it's premiere on Fox, smackdown has confirmed to be on the top in both quality and viewership.

Also, it is the home show of Rey Mysterio because it is the place where classics of Mysterio were born and made famous.

5. Randy Orton - Legend Killed and Superstar of the Year Nominee.

This year is different and was best for a different breed of humanity and that belongs to Randy Orton only. His Legend Killer Persona was great where he derailed Edge, Christian, Ric Flair, Big Show and Shawn Michaels ( Though HBK no-sold his RKO and punt ) and proved out to be a true legend killer. Also due to his performance in this year has let him be nominated for a superstar of the year award.

6. Rey Mysterio - Prospective feuds

Currently, Rey Mysterio is busy in Putting up his children, but let us not forget the original Rey Mysterio who is a singles superstar who provides the best quality of matchup. On the current roster of Smackdown, there are many feuds which could be possible for the ultimate enjoyment of fans.

First of all the feud against Daniel Bryan. Both are Faces at the time and are master of face vs face feuds, for example against John Cena and Roman Reigns.

Other feuds for Mysterio are against Reigns, Jey uso, Kevin Owens, Big E and most importantly Dominik Mysterio ( Seems impossible at the time).

7. Randy Orton - Fans want him to see more

If Breaking the character is like solving a case then Orton is surely Sherlock Holmes.

He often breaks the character on live tv which is admired by fans and they just want to see more of him.

On other hand, Mysterio is overshadowed by Murphy and Dominik and is not in front.

Fans want more of Orton which prompts WWE to treat him in bigger feuds and promos.
